Integral Eye Coaching - About Me
Moses Silbiger, MA Integral Psychology
Integral Life Coach & Consultant
My Professional Background
I have a Masters Degree in Integral Psychology at John F. Kennedy University (JFK) in conjunction with an academic Certification in Life Coaching, which allows me to integrate Psychology and Coaching into a broader and deeper cross-disciplinary professional framework.
I also have a bachelor's degree in Architecture and a strong background in computer graphics, art direction and graphic design. Recently I concluded a one year and a half project working for Aliveworld, a groundbreaking online community based platform geared to e-learning, personal growth and development (e-change), to be launched soon in 2008. I have also contributed with graphic and web design for the John F. Kennedy University and Integral Institute joint projects.
This entrepreneurial and artistic experience has helped me to integrate a sense of leadership, pragmatism and creativity with an intuitive and people-oriented approach, coming from my experience with psychology, spirituality and coaching. I bring all these complementary aspects into the core of my integral coaching practice. Besides English, I also speak fluent Portuguese (Brazilian) and Spanish (conversational).
I have also been involved in an ongoing Mixed-Methods and Integral Research exploring the potentials of designing video games to facilitate human development, having already presented some of these insights and results at various conferences, interviews and articles. My Personal Path
I've been interested and involved with the subjects of personal growth, psychology and spirituality for more than 18 years, in both theoretical and practical ways. My background in these areas comes from a long and deep yearning and passion for subjects related to self-knowledge and inner transformation, which I had pursued through different scientific, psychological and spiritual paths and orientations.
In conjunction with my academic studies, I carry forward an Integral Life Practice
(ILP) into all aspects of my life and coaching practice, working simultaneously with body, mind, heart and spirit. I have been also a student of the Diamond Approach, a long-term psychodynamic and spiritual work taught by the Ridhwan School.
I am honorably grateful to various friends, teachers, guides, scientists, philosophers, coaches, masters and traditions for contributing which much of what I have learned in terms of personal growth and spirituality. This continuous learning and practice has helped me to bring an unfolding sense of presence, care, empathy, objectivity, wisdom and listening skills to the core of my coaching practice.
As for of my personal life, I am married to my sweet wife Catherine Anna Weber-Silbiger, who is a massage therapist currently pursuing her Marriage Family Therapist license. In terms of health and diet, I tend to be integrally and organically oriented, recognizing the strengths of both Western and Eastern approaches to health and well being. As for hobbies, I love to travel, hike and be outdoors, preferably in natural settings. I am also a great fan of new technologies, computer graphics, "good" video games (proactive and engaging, ideally with features to catalyze human development ), movies (especially those really meaningful or based on real life stories), documentaries (all types), music (eclectic) and books (mostly related to human development).
